Borrowing Privileges

  • for current members only
  • 5 books numbered 1800 and above (includes all OS #s)
  • 3 additional books numbered under 1800
  • 2 miscellaneous items (Misc #s) such as a DVD or template set
  • 4 magazines
Items are due at the meeting in two months, and may be returned sooner to the Librarian or one of the local quilt shop book return boxes listed below.

Renewal

Items may be renewed once, on or before the due date, unless they have been reserved by someone else. You may renew by email, phone, or at meetings.

Reserves

Books may be reserved at a meeting, or by contacting the Librarian by email or phone. You may arrange to borrow books in between meetings. Please remember to include the book number and at least part of the title or the author when inquiring about a specific book, as some books have duplicate copies. Reserved items are held for 1 meeting only. Requests for items must be received no later than the Saturday before a meeting.

Overdue Items

Please return overdue items ASAP. If you have items overdue from a previous meeting, you may not borrow more until all overdue items are returned.

Damaged or Lost Books

Please contact the Librarian if a book is damaged or lost while you have it checked out.

Donations

Donations of quilt and fiber-related books, patterns and magazines are accepted at any time. Donations may be left in a book return box (please label as a donation to the library). If a book can be used in the library, it will be added to the collection. Otherwise, it will be placed in the library sale items or donated to another organization. Please check with the Librarian if you wish to purchase a specific item for the library.

Book Return Boxes

Library items returned to quilt shop return boxes must be there no later than the Wednesday before a meeting.
